O'SULLIVAN BACKS DING TO WIN £1m

The English Open is part of a series, the Home Nations. And anyone who can win all four of the tournaments, will receive a £1million bonus. Eurosport's Ronnie O'Sullivan says that Ding Junhui has as good a chance as anyone...
He said: "The £1million bonus for winning all four tournaments is obviously something which has got people talking, and rightly so – it’s a life changing amount of money. It’s a positive new step and I think it helps that when you introduce a new series it comes with an added thing to take note of. It’s going to be hugely difficult for anyone to do it, but that’s what makes it special. But anything’s possible and there are plenty of players on the tour who are capable of doing it. Ding Junhui for me is someone who immediately springs to mind."
