Judd Trump wins dramatic European Masters final against Ronnie O'Sullivan

Judd Trump defeated Ronnie O'Sullivan in a dramatic final in the European Masters, securing victory by nine frames to eight.

O'Sullivan went into the final session of the match 5-3 up after a strong start to the final but he was quickly pegged back by a clearly determined Trump, who won the opening three frames which included a century.

It put Trump 6-5 up in the best of 17 frame final but O'Sullivan responded strongly with some emphatic play, including a 93 clearance to then go 7-6 up.

O'Sullivan then strengthened his grip on the game as he became the first of the two players to reach eight frames but a couple of errors cost him and Trump took full advantage.
