Luca Brecel continued his fine run at the Welsh Open as he ousted Ricky Walden 5-3 to move into the semi-finals.
Walden raced into a three-frame advantage courtesy of runs of 98, 40 and 45 but Brecel, who had already stunned Mark Selby in the previous round, responded in supreme fashion.
He reeled off the next five frames - including breaks of 72 in frame five and 90 in frame seven - on the bounce to move into the semi-finals.
Brecel will face John Higgins at the semi-final after the Scot beat Stephen Maguire 5-1.
Mark Williams beat Marco Fu by the same score in a match of high quality snooker that contained three century breaks - two for Williams and one for Fu.
Williams will take on Ben Woollaston in the last four after Woollaston overcame Gary Wilson 5-2.
