Tearful Ding Junhui becomes first player to win Shanghai Masters twice

Ding Junhui secured another stunning win on home soil as he beat Mark Selby 10-6 to clinch the Shanghai Masters title for a second time.

Ding broke down in tears after he closed out the win over the world number one and reigning world champion.

The Chinese star recorded a crucial break of 63 to move within a frame of victory, then held his nerve to take his second title in Shanghai.
In what was the 10th anniversary of the event, the crowd was delighted to see Ding triumph with Selby only able to muster six frames.
As he spoke to fans after taking the title, Ding was overcome with emotion with the enormity of the win very apparent.
The rematch of the World Championship final ended just as Ding and the Chinese fans hoped it would.
