Trump and Murphy through in Poland

Judd Trump narrowly edged out compatriot Steve Davis 4-3 courtesy of a break of 88 in the final frame after Davis had earlier collected wins over home favourite Wojciech Przylucki and Mike to Dunn.

Murphy came through in more comfortable fashion, however, losing just the two frames as he beat Jamie O’Neill 4-0, Stuart Bingham 4-1 and Tian Pengfei 4-1.

Round seven is the last 16 stage of the tournament, which features a host of local players in addition to more familiar names on the tour.
