Judd Trump won a dramatic final frame to beat Barry Hawkins and make it through to the semi-finals of the Welsh Open.
With the score at 4-4 going into the decider Trump got off to a fine start with a break of 32 before he missed on the yellow.
Hawkins took control but, after a succession of safeties, Trump managed to fluke the final red.
However, he was not on a colour so had to try and snooker Hawkins before he made a mistake of his own that gave his opponent a chance on the yellow.
Incredibly, he couldn't take that chance and it allowed Trump to clear up.
The match was a cagey affair with Hawkins' highest break 76 and Trump's just 50.
Trump looked comfortable at 3-1 up but Hawkins rallied with three consecutive half-centuries to take the lead.
Trump responded to take the eighth frame before sealing it in the ninth and will face Scott Donaldson in the semi-finals after the 22-year-old beat Zhou Yuelong 5-0 in the earlier game.
In the later match on the main table, world number two Stuart Bingham eased into the last four with a 5-3 win over Stuart Carrington.
Bingham was scintillating in the first four frames, making a century break in the opener as Carrington potted just three balls before the interval.
Carrington finally got on the board in the fifth and the sixth to create some panic.
A tight seventh frame saw a shoot-out on the green that eventually ended with Bingham sinking it into the middle pocket.
However, he couldn't finish it off and Carrington came back to win with a fabulous blue, pink and black.
The eighth frame was extremely tense with both players making some errors as they struggled to cope on the main table, which has been causing some problems throughout the tournament.
Eventually Bingham secured the frame and the match to secure a nervy progression to the next round.
He will face Robert Wilkins after his 5-2 win over Kurt Maflin.
