EVENING SESSION

Marco Fu 2-7 Luca Brecel

7-86, 0-109 (109), 24-61, 5-78, 8-94, 69-30, 10-78, 0-76, 105-0 (105)
Fu was many people's tip to lift the trophy going into the tournament, or at least to go deep, but he was out of sorts against young Belgian Luca Brecel. Whilst Fu spluttered when at the table Brecel was assured and potted well to open up a commanding 5-0 lead.
Fu eventually got on the board in the sixth frame but another impressive break from Brecel meant he took the seventh and eighth frames.
Staring down the barrel of a big defeat Fu produced his first century of the tournament, but he has it all to do tomorrow evening.

Mark Allen 5-4 Jimmy Robertson

39-82, 37-100, 69-55, 8-96, 105-0 (105), 1-86, 68-39, 62-50, 100-0 (100)
Like Fu Allen started poorly and found himself 3-1 down.
The Pistol registered his first century to get it back to 3-2 but Robertson made it 4-2.
However in the final three frames Allen really kicked into gear, winning the seventh and eighth frames before rounding things off with a century.

AFTERNOON SESSION

Ronnie O'Sullivan 10-7 Gary Wilson (O'Sullivan wins)
74-41, 64-0, 125-0, 0-91, 122-0 (122), 65-58, 44-70, 0-99, 69-78, 93-59, 0-100 (100), 124-0 (124), 99-46, 124-0, 1-75, 4-103 (103)
The Rocket opened up the first session with the first frame but Wilson pegged him right back in the second frame as he picked up his first century break of the match.
O'Sullivan responds with a century of his own to open up that lead again. Now he's taking control and with some more strong breaks he's just one away from victory.
Wilson fights back superbly to make it 9-7, including another century.
But there's the frame he needed and O'Sullivan made it through to the next round.
Stuart Bingham 5-4 Peter Ebdon (Will resume Midday Monday)
97-0, 77-70, 80-1, 1-86, 29-66, 99-6, 122-0, 0-97
Strong start from the 2015 champion as he records a break of 91 to open. It's a decent fight from Ebdon in the second but Bingham matches him to go two clear.
Ebdon has fought back and he's now just one behind after a couple of strong frames.
Bingham responded with his first century of the match, notching a 122, but Ebdon made sure the gap stayed at two.
He then made the gap just one as he produced an incredible comeback in the ninth frame.
Needing four snookers Ebdon managed to secure just that and celebrated with a guttural roar.

MORNING SESSION

Kyren Wilson 10-6 David Grace (Wilson wins)
62-51, 90-18, 56-70, 76-0, 0-75, 49-41, 71-24, 0-70, 26-74, 58-42, 43-75, 101-16, 0-131 (104), 93-26, 70-9, 70-23
Shaun Murphy 6-3 Yan Bingtao (match resumes 14:30 Monday)
85-11, 22-109 (109), 89-23, 128-6 (128), 119-6 (118), 41-66, 46-85, 75-40, 81-0
Century breaks in parentheses.
