Shaun Murphy dragged himself back in to his quarter-final with Matthew Stevens, levelling at 4-4 after losing the opening three frames of the match. Click on the red icon for live scores and comments from the afternoon session.

Stevens - five times a Crucible semi-finalist since 2000 - started the match fast, winning the opening two frames, including a break of 118 in the second, without Murphy potting a ball.

But 2005 champion Murphy eventually found his long-potting-feet and got on the scoreboard with a break of 82 to go in to the mid-session interval 3-1 behind.

A second century of the match - this time 108 - from the Welsh Dragon took Stevens 4-2 up, but Murphy scrapped to the final two frames of the session to ensure the pair will begin level when they resume at 19:00 UK time.
