The women's race saw a win for Sabine Schoeffmann to move her up to second in the overall standings as she got the better of Julie Zogg.
But it was Fischnaller who was most impressive in the night-time race, with the Italian beating compatriot Edwin Coratti to the gold medal by 1.77s.
The small final was an all-Russian affair, with Dmitry Loginov getting the better of Vic Wild by 0.20s to grab the bronze medal.

Fischnaller's first-round opponent Jure Hafner failed to finish, before the Italian received another walkover into the semi-final as Aaron Muss also failed to cross the finish line.
He then beat Wild in the semi-final to go top of both the overall World Cup standings, and the parallel slalom leaderboard.
Schoeffmann now sits second in the overall World Cup standings, behind Czech rider Ester Ledecka, but tops the parallel slalom standings after the first race of the season.
The Austrian rider coasted into the quarter-finals as Slovenia's Gloria Kotnik failed to finish in the first round, before Schoeffmann beat Alena Zavarzina by 0.27s in the last eight.
Schoeffmann then beat compatriot Daniela Ulbing in the semi-final before easing past Zogg in the final, with her team-mate losing out to Russia's Natalia Soboleva in the small final.
