  • Name - Billy Morgan
  • Date of Birth - 02/04/1989
  • Place of Birth - Southampton
  • Sport/Discipline - Snowboard (slopestyle/big air)
  • Honours - X Games: Bronze x1

Despite suffering such a serious injury, Morgan recovered and managed to compete in Sochi, coming 10th in the slopestyle competition. He had been second in the world rankings at the end of 2013.
He underwent surgery the following April and was sidelined for five months, but came back strongly to win gold in the big air competition in the 2016 X Games in Oslo.
Now big air is making its debut in PyeongChang, the 28-year-old has another target to aim for. He is not short of a trick or two either: in 2011 he landed the first triple rodeo flip, and in 2015 he was the first man to land a 1800 quadruple cork.
A former gymnast, Morgan started snowboarding on a dry slope in Southampton.
