Tom Sykes claims pole in Jerez

Tom Sykes will start on pole in Jerez after a frantic finish to Superpole 2.
Top spot on the timesheets changed hands four times in the final minute of the session, but when it was all over Sykes led from Kawasaki team-mate Jonathan Rea.
Rea, who leads the World Superbike Championship standings on 426 points, had struggled throughout Friday but was able to deliver in qualifying to give his team a 1-2 at the front of the grid.
Davide Giugliano completes the front row on his Aruba.it Racing-Ducati, while Pata Yamaha's Alex Lowes sits fourth ahead of Nicky Hayden (Honda) and Giugliano's team-mate Chaz Davies.
Every rider in the top 11 set a time under Sykes' lap record from 2015.
Jordi Torres (Althea BMW) took seventh place after moving up from Superpole 1, while Xavi Fores (Barni) is eighth and Sylvain Guintoli (Pata Yamaha) is ninth.
