Guy and O'Connor add to British tally in Doha

James Guy and Siobhan-Marie O'Connor both took silver as Great Britain added to their medal tally at the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Doha.

O'Connor, who won silver in yesterday's mixed 4x50m relay, went in the final of the women's 100m individual medley.
But she was up against it from the off and her time of 57.83 was 1.13 seconds shy of Hungary's Katinka Hosszu who clocked a world-record time of 56.70.
Guy meanwhile was also beaten by a Hungarian, this time in the form of Peter Bernek who set a championship record time of 3:34.32 in the 400m freestyle.
Guy's time of 3:36.35 was enough however to hold off the challenge of Serbia's Velimir Stjepanovic and knocked off further time on the British record he set in the morning's heats.
However, while Guy and O�Connor collected silver there was no joy for Jazz Carlin who finished sixth in her 400m freestyle final.
Gold went to Spain�s Mireia Belmonte Garcia with a Championship record of 3:55.76 while Carlin was 6.56 seconds off the pace.
In the day's semi-finals there was success for Chris Walker-Hebborn who has the chance to go for his second medal of the Championships after he qualified seventh fastest for the 50m backstroke final.
But Adam Barrett narrowly missed out on a spot in the 50m butterfly final � finishing ninth in the heats and missing out on a final spot by 0.19 seconds.
