Olympics Rio 2016: Roles reversed as Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky recreate photo 10 years on

Katie Ledecky was all smiles aged nine when she got an autograph from one of her heroes, Michael Phelps, in 2006.

Fast forward 10 years, and now Ledecky is also an Olympic champion, claiming four golds and one silver in Rio.
Phelps ended his Olympic career (we think) on 23 golds, and was all smiles when the pair recreated the photo.
This isn’t the first time Phelps has been pictured with a youngster who went onto Olympic glory, as the American was beaten to 100m butterfly gold by Joseph Schooling.
