Nick Kyrgios has high expectations as Australian joins Queen's line-up

Nick Kyrgios says he is expecting "big things on grass this year" after joining the field for the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club.

The 22-year-old Australian has attracted more negative headlines than positive since breaking through in spectacular fashion by reaching the quarter-finals of Wimbledon in 2014.
But this year he has largely been making waves on the court, beating Novak Djokovic back-to-back in Acapulco and Indian Wells.

Kyrgios said: "I'm real excited and pumped to be coming back to Queen's. It's a great tournament, with Wimbledon soon after, and I love playing on grass. It's my favourite surface, it suits my game a lot and I'm expecting big things on grass this year.
"I don't think British people have seen the best of me yet. I was very young when I had that run at Wimbledon.
"Mentally I have improved a lot recently. I'm in a great place at the moment, I feel like I've matured and that's helping me. I'm playing better tennis, I'm getting some better results."
Kyrgios joins a star-studded line-up, with defending champion Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic and Grigor Dimitrov having all committed to the tournament, which begins on June 19.
The Australian will hope for better luck in the draw having lost his opening matches on both his previous appearances, to Wawrinka in 2015 and Raonic last year.
