The Hawk-Eye system, which allows instant replays of close line calls, was used for the first time at a Grand Slam at the US Open last month.
"It will be a fantastic innovation for the fans," said tournament director Craig Tiley. "We will have two giant screens at Rod Laver arena and it will be a great way of involving spectators."
"The experience at the US Open among the players and fans were very similar, we're very excited about it," he added.
Tiley also revealed that officials at the tournament were in constant contact with the ATP Tour regarding the rules over player challenges. At Flushing Meadows, each player was allowed up to three challenges per set.
The prize money pool has also increased by five percent on last year, with the winners of the men's and women's singles events taking home €750,000.
Tiley also confirmed his team had held talks with Australian number one Lleyton Hewitt's managers regarding the speed of the courts. Hewitt has long been frustrated at what he sees as the tournament's slow courts hampering his bid for a home Grand Slam win.
But Tiley announced: "According to the International Tennis Federation, we fit into the category of a medium to a medium-fast court.
"Our objective from day one is to have uniformity and consistency throughout the tournament."
