Germany will be without leading singles player Tommy Haas and doubles specialists Alexander Waske and Michael Kohlmann when they face South Korea in their Davis Cup world group first round tie next month.

German captain Patrik Kuehnen named Philipp Kohlschreiber as his number one singles player on Tuesday, backed by Florian Mayer, Michael Berrer and Philipp Petzschner for the February 8-10 match to be played on an indoor clay court in Braunschweig.
Haas has not played this year due to a shoulder injury and his ranking has slipped to 27.
Kohlschreiber won his second ATP tournament in Auckland earlier this month and reached the last 16 of the Australian Open with a memorable five-set victory over Andy Roddick.
The 24-year-old is ranked one place below Haas but is clearly Germany's number one on current form.
Mayer, ranked 69, was chosen ahead of the experienced Nicolas Kiefer, who lost in the first round of the Australian Open and is struggling with a foot injury.
The 27-year-old Berrer, the world number 65, gets his first call-up to the Davis Cup team.
Waske and Kohlmann, Germany's first choice doubles team, both miss the tie through injury.
Petzschner, who helped Waske win the doubles rubber in last year's semi-final defeat by Russia, will reprise his replacement role, perhaps alongside Kohlschreiber.
