World number four Milos Raonic was quick to heap praise on British tennis star Kyle Edmund after progressing to the Delray Beach Open semi-finals.
Raonic, top seed in Florida, was forced to weather a tough storm from Edmund, before prevailing in three sets.
Edmund, Britain's number two behind Andy Murray, took first blood – breaking at 3-3 before holding to love at 5-4 to claim the opening set.
But Raonic found his feet in the second, winning the final three games to level the match, before breaking immediately in the third.
He closed the match out on serve, to advance to a last four clash with Juan Martin del Potro.
"Kyle has very good potential," he said.
"He takes it to you and has a forehand that's very hard to read.
"He's constantly improving, so things look bright for him.
"I was a little bit slow off the block, got a little down on myself after that and wasn't necessarily focusing on the right things.
"I was glad to be able to get out of that midway through the second set."
And after recovering from the adductor injury he sustained during the Australian Open, Raonic said he is happy with how his body has responded.
"I feel like I'm getting better each match," he added. "With this constant improvement, I'm feeling positive and like I have a good shot to win the matches ahead of me."
