Heather Watson beats Anastasiya Komardina in French Open qualifying first round

British No. 2 Heather Watson came from a setdown to beat Anastasiya Komardina 3-6 7-5 6-1 in the first round of qualifying for the French Open.
Komardina took the first set after Watson allowed a break advantage to slip, going down 6-3 having led 3-2.
However Watson fought back superbly in the second from 4-2 down to win 7-5 and force a decider.
From there onwards she was in total control in the final set, easing to a 6-1 win which meant she had won 11 out of the last 13 games.
Her victory means that she will face Tereza Smitkova in the second round with the possibility of facing either Richel Hogenkamp or Jessika Ponchet in the final round.
