Roger Federer was dumped out of the French Open by compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka in the French Open quarter-finals in straight sets.
But the former Roland Garros champion was keeping a keen eye on the goings on over in Paris despite being back home in Switzerland watching his football team Basel in action.
With Basel meeting Sion in the Swiss Cup final, Federer was keeping one eye on the tennis.
He would no doubt have been pleased to see his victorious Davis Cup team-mate Wawrinka upset the odds with a 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4 win in the final over world number one Novak Djokovic.
Some sportsmen could not watch when they are out of a tournament, but Federer again proves why he is such a great ambassador for his sport.
In fairness, he was probably better sticking to the tennis with his side losing 3-0 to Sion, who claimed their 13th national cup success.
