Rafael Nadal produced some scintillating tennis as he eased into a 6-2 6-3 lead against Stan Wawrinka in the French Open final.

Nadal, 31, took the first set in 43 minutes as he broke the serve of Wawrinka twice, and the superlative tennis continued in the second as the nine-time Roland Garros winner took it 6-3.
The Spaniard is now just one set away from securing La Decima - a 10th crown at Roland Garros.
