Juan Martin del Potro endured an unhappy return to action as he fell to a 6-4 7-6(7) first round defeat to Vasek Pospisil at the Miami Masters.

The Argentine - playing in his first match since January - fashioned five break points in the opener, but was unable to make a breakthrough on his opponent’s serve as he let the set slip away.
Both players broke in a second set that was eventually settled via a tie-break, with Pospisil triumphing 9-7.
"I didn't serve well in the special moments," said Del Potro. "But now I'm OK. Just playing the tournament and being here means a lot for me.
"It doesn't matter how long it takes me to be at the top again. I just wanted to play tennis and without pain."
Jerzy Janowicz progressed to the second round with a 6-4 6-2 win over Edouard Roger-Vasselin, while Borna Coric battled back to beat Andreas Haider-Maurer 1-6 6-3 7-6(3).
