Katerina Siniakova through to final

Qualifier Katerina Siniakova continued her dream tournament to reach the final of the Ericsson Open.

The 20-year-old Czech, who has never won a single title on the tour, beat defending champion and eighth seed Johanna Larsson 7-5, 6-1 in Bastad, Sweden, on Saturday.

She will face Laura Siegemund in the final after Siegemund beat her fellow German Julia Goerges due to her retirement in the third set.

Goerges won the first set 4-6 but Siegemund won the second set 6-3 and was 4-0 up in the third when her opponent pulled out.
