Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares have reached the Rogers Cup final after beating home favourites Daniel Nestor and Vasek Pospisil.
Britain's Murray and Brazilian Soares beat the Canadian duo 6-4 6-7 (5-7) 10-7 in Toronto.
The second seeds, who won the Australian Open in January, now face third favourites Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo in Sunday's final.
Nestor and Pospisil were uniting at an ATP World Tour event for the first time since 2013 and the prior believes Murray and Soares took advantage of the key moments.
"Today these guys were just a little bit more solid," the Nestor said.
"They made a few more balls at the key moments. They put a lot of first serves in play in the match tie-break and played solid doubles."
