Wimbledon evacuated after fire alarm

The grounds at the Wimbledon Championships have been evacuated following a fire alarm.
Centre Court was initially cleared by security staff before everyone else at the All England Club were requested to leave shortly after close of play.
The London Fire Brigade, who arrived at the scene, later tweeted that 3,000 people were evacuated following a ‘small fire in the plant room’.
A tournament spokesman said: "The cause of the evacuation was not immediately clear, amid suggestions it may have been caused by an electrical fault."
Media were allowed to stay in the grounds, in the confines of the press centre, adjacent to Centre Court. However, the alarm did interrupt a news conference being held by Serena Williams.
There was no indication as to whether the incident would affect Thursday's play.
