2018 FISU WUC Seminar

LAUSANNE – In less than three weeks, FISU will host its 2018 World University Championship OC’s Seminar. More than thirty Organising Committees from four different continents will be welcomed in Lausanne, the home of international sport, from 26 to 28 April 2017.

In order to prepare the 2018 FISU WUC season in the best conditions, the seminar will cover all the functional areas related to the event organisation such as services, relation with the delegations, accreditation, media, marketing, workforce management and many other important functional areas.

FISU has invited experienced international speakers to share their experience and bring their practical advice to the floor. This, in turn, should provide all attendants with key in-sight into the hosting of this important FISU event. Along with the presentations given by mentioned experts, there will be lectures, workshops, practical cases and individual meetings between all partners in attendance. This seminar is a key moment for all the FISU WUC Organising Committees as it proposes to answer questions and help them to better plan their last year of preparation.  

Side activities will also be organised for all the representatives of the 2018 FISU WUC Organising Committees, including leisure sports activities and a cultural visit to the Olympic Museum.
