ARG, BRA & CHI Teams qualify at Pan-American Event for 2017 WUL 3x3

BUENOS AIRES - The Pan American University 3×3 Basketball Championship at the National University of La Matanza in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has already defined the four tickets for the World League in Xiamen, China.

Women's finalists: UniNassau & Universidad Católica de Chile

This Saturday, 10 June, the semi-finals, the third and fourth place, and the finals, were played among the best teams of the 16 teams from across the continent that participated in the competition.

In the women’s competition, Catholic University of Chile and UniNassau of Brazil, made it to the finals after defeating Pontificial Javerianan University (PUJ) of Bogota and National University of La Matanza (UNLaM) respectively in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, in the men’s competition, the organizer UNLaM stepped up, after beating Arturo Prat University (Chile), while the other finalist was Chile University, who won the other semi-final beating the Chilean University of Antofagasta.

In women’s final, UniNassau beat Universidad Católica de Chile 20-7 at, imposing its physical power and height. In the men’s final, UNLaM beat Chile University 20-11, showing more dynamics, power and effectiveness.
