Hyundai E&C becomes Official Partner of Gwangju Universiade

GWANGJU - The Gwangju 2015 Universiade Organizing Committee (GUOC) and Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company signed a partnership agreement on 13 February. Hyundai Construction is now referred as an “Official Partner” providing construction services for Universiade facilities and venues. Hyundai E&C has carried out domestic and overseas construction projects which include the Kyeong-bu express way, the longest freeway in Korea, and Singapore Suntec Tower.

GUOC secretary general KIM Yoon-suk said, “I deeply appreciate Hyundai E&C’s commitment to help us host a successful Universiade. I am confident that we will deliver an outstanding Universiade with the help of the leading global construction company.”

Hyundai E&C head of planning, KIM Jung-chul replied, “Hyundai E&C is delighted to be an Official Partner of the Gwangju Universiade. The World University Games is a meaningful event and we will do our best to help the GUOC host a successful Universiade.”
