IDUS 2017 celebrated in Lebanon

LEBANON - In celebration of the International Day of University Sport, the Lebanese American University (LAU) where EduC member Sami Garabedian is the Director of Athletics, organized a series of activities for students, faculty and staff. 

Close to about 250 of the LAU community participated in activities such as table tennis, 3x3 basketball, mixed volleyball, 1x1 futsal, blindfold handball penalty shootout, foot-volleyball, and hit the target soccer drill.

It was an opportunity for all participants to have fun, take a break from their daily work routine and enjoy the benefits of engaging in sport.

Lectures on anti-doping, healthy eating habits and exercise benefits are also scheduled throughout the month.
