Thed Björk will return to Swedish GT action in his homeland this weekend – partnering Prince Carl Philip in Polestar Cyan Racing’s Volvo S60.

The three-time FIA World Touring Car Championship race winner is making his final appearance alongside Prince Carl Philip in Swedish GT this season at the Karlskoga track.

“It feels awesome to be back on my home track following a good summer break after my podium finish in Argentina,” said Björk. “We’re heading to Karlskoga to fight for the championship lead – we have what it takes to win.”

Following the upcoming Swedish GT counter, Björk will switch his focus to his WTCC title bid. After 12 races, the factory Volvo racer is 12 points behind Tiago Monteiro in second place. The battle resumes at the Ningbo International Speedpark, venue of WTCC Race of China, from 13-15 October.
