Narang, who claimed the host nation's first gold medal of the Games along with Abhinav Bindra yesterday in the pairs 10m air rifle competition, bettered his own mark to notch 703.6 points and take gold.
Meanwhile, bronze went to England's James Huckle, who edged out teammate Kenny Parr to take third spot.
Yesterday, Huckle and Parr took silver behind Bindra and Narang and in the individual competition, there was little to separate to England duo.
Huckle collected 693.5 points, just half a point more than his compatriot to take his place on the podium.
Silver went to Bindra, who was selected as India's flag bearer at Sunday's opening ceremony, after he amassed 698 points.
Elsewhere, England duo Steven Scott and Stevan Walton pipped Indian duo Asher Noria and Ronjan Sodhi to gold in the men's pairs double trap final.
The England pair racked up 189 points to set a new Commonwealth Games record and top the podium by a single point.
