Kildow withdraws injured

Twice silver medallist Lindsey Kildow of the United States will miss the last two events of the world Alpine skiing championships because of a knee injury sustained in training, her team said.

Kildow, who came second to Anja Paerson in the super-G and the downhill here, will miss Friday's women's slalom as well as Sunday's team event.
