The Swiss skier's combined time of 2:26.50 in Wengen was enough to see him top the podium for the second time this season, edging out Norwegian Svindal in second by 0.18 seconds.
Third-place Austrian Matthias Mayer's time of 2:27.17 was 0.1 seconds quicker than compatriot Hannes Reichelt, who had to settle for fourth.
Feuz, the 2017 downhill World Champion, now trails 35-year-old Svindal, a five-time World Champion who won 2010 Olympic gold in the Super-G, by just 58 points at the top of the downhill World Cup standings.
The 30-year-old Swiss has moved onto 362 to the Norwegian's 420. Kjetil Jansrud, eighth in Wengen, remains third.
