Ted Ligety will be fit and raring to go for the opening World Cup slalom of the season in Levi next weekend.
The Olympic combined gold medalist suffered a hand injury in training last week at Pitztal and his participation in Soelden was in doubt, before the Austrian curtain raiser was cancelled.
The 22-year-old flew back to the United States for treatment after hitting his right hand on a gate during giant slalom training and injuring the index finger below his knuckle.
But Ligety has now resumed training in Colorado and will be eager to gain his first World Cup slalom victory in Finland.
