The victory was Pinturault's 23rd in World Cup history, taking him clear of Carole Merle as the most successful French skier in World Cup history.
Near-perfect conditions in Andorra made for some high-quality skiing, with the Frenchman finishing 0.44 seconds ahead of young Swiss talent Marco Odermatt. Zan Kranjec was third.
