Christian McCaffrey set the NFL record for the most touchdowns by a running back on Sunday in the Carolina Panthers' loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
The second-year back ended the day with 12 receptions for 77 yards and now has 106 on the season with one game to play. He broke the record of 102 set by
Matt Forte in 2014 with the Chicago Bears.

The 22-year-old also broke the franchise record for receptions in Panthers' history, topping receiver Steve Smith's 103 catches in 2005.
McCaffrey also rushed for 101 yards on 21 carries, giving him 1,080 rushing yards. He became the fifth player in franchise history to run for 1,000 yards in a season.
He is the third player in NFL history to have at least 100 receptions and gain more than 1,000 rushing yards in a season, joining Forte and LaDainian Tomlinson (2003) in that category.
