Notre Dame defensive lineman Jerry Tillery, who is expected to be selected high in April's NFL Draft, had successful shoulder surgery Wednesday, his agent announced on Twitter.
Tillery, who had eight sacks this past season, is expected to need three to
four months of recovery time from the procedure to repair a torn labrum.
Tillery is viewed as a possible second-round pick, according to projections,
but could end up being a late first-round pick.

The 6-foot-7, 305-pounder had 12 1/2 sacks in his four seasons at Notre Dame.
