Great Britain's Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake finished the European Championships 200m final brilliantly on Thursday to take silver behind Ramil Guliyev of Turkey, who smashed the championship record.
Mitchell-Blake was one of the most impressive in qualifying along with Alex Wilson of Switzerland but neither had any answer for the world champion Guliyev.
The Turkish runner took off and broke 20 seconds, clocking a time of 19.76, a new championship record.
Wilson finished level with Mitchell-Blake on 20.04 but he had to settle for bronze behind the Brit.
Adam Gemili clocked 20.10 to come in fifth.
