"I have not really made a decision concerning athletics," the 100m hurdler declared. "I will think about my future after the recovery period which I will spend with INSEP."
"I cannot be sure of the time but I know I will be on crutches for six weeks."
The double European indoor 60m hurdles champions in 2000 and 2002 turns 30 on Christmas Eve and will have an ultrasound in ten days time.
"If that goes well I will have a special type of boot that will maybe let me have some support. I have not set myself any objectives - the most important thing is to be able to regain my fitness, be able to walk again normally and to run."
Ferga-Khodadin confirmed that she will carry out her rehabilitation with Marc Michnowski, her training group's physio, "because it went really well with him after the operation on the left Achilles."
