Injured Geelong star Steve Johnson remains hopeful he will be fit for Saturday's AFL grand final against Collingwood.
Johnson wrenched his knee in the preliminary final win over West Coast, but was walking without crutches before the end of the match.
The 2007 Norm Smith Medallist said on Twitter he will find out later on Sunday afternoon what his chances are of being cleared to play in the premiership decider.
"Will find out more later this arvo so just keeping fingers crossed there is no serious damage, if there's not I'm a chance," Johnson said in his message.
Johnson will undergo a scan on the knee to determine the extent of the damage he suffered when Andrew Embley brought him down in a tackle.
