Schilling left in a three-run Baltimore sixth, but the Boston bullpen pitched 3 2/3 shutout innings in relief while the offense broke through for nine runs in their last three innings to end Baltimore's four-game winning streak.
"It's a 25-man roster of guys who know how to win," Schilling said.
"It just seems like it is a different somebody every night. I mean, in a league of these offenses, to have a bullpen this good is obviously a great thing."
Julio Lugo had four hits and an RBI to pace a 15-hit Red Sox attack as Boston, which lost to Baltimore at Fenway Park on Friday, beat the Orioles for the 18th time in 22 games over the past two seasons.
Lefty reliever Javier Lopez, recalled from the minor leagues on Friday, came on and ended the sixth and got an out in the seventh to get the win. Brandon Donnelly, Hideki Okajima and Jonathan Papelbon finished it off.
The Red Sox are now an AL-leading 24-11.
Losing Orioles pitcher Jon Leicester threw 49 pitches before leaving with a shoulder injury, and Todd Williams then threw 50 pitches, allowing seven hits and five runs.
"We knew this game was going to happen," said Baltimore skipper Sam Perlozzo. "I knew this was going to happen sooner or later, if we kept going to the [bullpen] like we did."
Vernon Wells scored all the way from first on a two-out single by Lyle Overbay in the seventh inning to lift the Toronto Blue Jays to a 5-4 home win over Tampa Bay.
Craig Monroe hit a two-run homer and Magglio Ordonez drove in two runs to power the Detroit Tigers to an 8-2 victory at Minnesota. The Tigers have won 11 of their last 12 and the Twins have lost four straight and 9-of-12.
Bartolo Colon (4-0) tied a Major League-record with his 12th straight win over Texas as the LA Angels beat the Rangers 6-3 in Texas.
Chuck James took a no-hitter into the seventh inning to lead the Atlanta Braves to a 9-2 road rout of the Pittsburgh Pirates in a game that also featured two home runs from Scott Thorman.
The lefthander was perfect through five innings and had a no-hitter through the first out of the seventh before yielding a single to Jason Bay, the only hit James (4-3) gave up in seven shutout innings.
The victory was the 2,195th for Atlanta manager Bobby Cox, moving him past Sparky Anderson into fourth place on the all-time managerial wins list. Only Connie Mack, John McGraw and Tony La Russa have more wins.
The Braves won without Chipper Jones, who injured his wrists following a collision with Pirates third baseman Jose Bautista on Friday.
"With Chipper out of the lineup, it was important for us to put some runs up on the board," Thorman said. "We did that early and Chuckie [James] did a tremendous job of pitching."
Thorman, who hit his fourth and fifth homers of the season, drove in five runs and Jeff Francoeur, playing in his 200th straight games for the Braves, had three hits and drove in a run as the first-place Braves won their fifth straight game.
Atlanta (24-12) leads the New York Mets by a game and a half in the NL East, while the Pirates (15-20) have lost six of their last eight games, ten of their last 14.
Tony Armas (0-3) failed to pick up a win for his seventh straight 2007 start for Pittsburgh.
J.J. Hardy's grand slam led Milwaukee to a 12-3 win over New York, ending the Mets' three-game winning streak and allowing the major league-leading Brewers (25-11) to shake off losing Friday night's opener of the three-game series.
Hardy has 11 homers, two in the two games in New York.
The Philadelphia Phillies answered a six-run Cubs rally in the top of the seventh inning with six runs of their own in the bottom half to score an 11-7 victory over Chicago. Both teams had 16 hits in the game.
Roy Oswalt won his sixth game of the year and the Houston Astros hit four homers in a 10-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
