Buceta has named a long list of players for his side's first two qualifiers in November, featuring Britain's WNBA champion Temi Fagbenle.
She will be joined by a plethora of London 2012 Olympians for the two matches, including Jo Leedham-Warner, Stef Collins, Chantelle Handy, Azania Stewart, Rachael Vanderwal, and Dominique Allen.
First up is the visit of Israel to Manchester on November 11, while just four days later a trip to Greece comes the British side's way for their first away clash of qualifying.
EuroBasket 2019 will take place in Serbia and Latvia and, after a summer of mixed fortunes – which did see the side register victory over Argentina – Buceta knows there is plenty of work to do if Britain are going to cut it with Europe's elite in two years' time.
"I trust this group of players to form the best team to achieve the big challenge of qualifying for FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019,” he said.
"After working hard in May and June to grow as a team, we will now concentrate on preparing for these games against Israel and Greece.
"I'm sure we can get a good crowd in Manchester on November 11th to support the team.” Sportsbeat 2017
