8 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The Nets, already eliminated from playoff contention, announced Trevor Booker, Jeremy Lin and Brook Lopez will sit out due to rest, while injuries will sideline Quincy Acy (ankle), Joe Harris (shoulder) and Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring).
The Bulls (40-41) enter the NBA's regular season's final night in a three-way fight with the Indiana Pacers (41-40) and Miami Heat (40-41) for the East's final two spots. If the Bulls win, they are in the playoffs.
Should either the Bulls or Pacers lose, Miami can lock up a playoff spot with a win over the Washington Wizards.

The Cleveland Cavaliers waived center Larry Sanders, ending the experiment before the start of the playoffs.
The Cavaliers also signed 7-foot-3 center Edy Tavares from the NBA Development League and guard Dahntay Jones to fill out their roster.
The 6-11 Sanders, a once promising forward-center who left pro basketball two years ago, appeared in five games after signing with Cleveland on March 13. He recorded four points, four rebounds and one block in 13 minutes of action.
Tavares played mostly this season for Toronto's D-League affiliate, the Raptors 905, where he averaged 10.6 points, 7.7 rebounds and a league-best 2.7 blocks in 48 games.

Indiana Pacers forward Paul George and Philadelphia 76ers guard Gerald Henderson were each fined $25,000 by the NBA for their behavior at Monday's game.
George was fined for public criticism of the officiating following the Pacers' 120-111 victory over the 76ers. Henderson was fined for throwing an elbow to the head of George with 2:59 remaining in the fourth quarter.
George stood over Henderson after a collision earlier in the quarter, with the officials handing each player a technical foul. Henderson elbowed George on a drive to the basket with 2:59 left in the contest, drawing a flagrant foul 2. ))
