Johannes Thingnes Boe set himself up to finish off the Biathlon World Cup season in style as he claimed victory on home snow in the penultimate race of the year – the 12.5km pursuit.
The Norwegian – who had long ago wrapped up the overall title having dominated throughout the year – once again put in a peerless display to finish the course in 32:15.6, 13.9s clear of older brother Tarjei Boe, with Germany's Arnd Peiffer rounding off the podium at Oslo Holmenkollen.
The result marks the triple Winter Olympic medallist's 15th World Cup win from 24 races this season, taking his points tally up to 1230, with nearest challenger Alexandr Loginov way back on 844.
Boe has the chance to finish off the year on a home hat-trick, with the 15km mass start on Sunday all set up for a grand finale.
