Vittozzi wins first World Cup event in Oberhof

Italian Lisa Vittozzi stormed to victory as she registered the first biathlon World Cup win of her career in Oberhof.
She took the women's 7.5km sprint title as she finished in 22:34.6, with Frenchwoman Anais Chevalier just over 5.3 seconds behind her to take silver.
Vitozzi, who won Olympic bronze in PyeongChang in the mixed relay, had clean shooting rounds as she came home first to keep her top of the overall sprint World Cup standings.
The bronze medal went to Sweden's Hanna Oeberg, the Olympic champion over 15km, who finished 15 seconds behind the winner.
Norway's Marte Olsbu Røiseland, with one penalty, finished fourth as she crossed the line 18.1 seconds back from the winner
Iryna Kryuko, of Belarus, and Vita Semerenko, of Ukraine, both shot clean to earn season bests of fifth and sixth place.
