Nico Walther and Christian Poser topped an all-German podium as they secured a slender World Cup victory in the two-man bobsleigh in St Moritz.
The duo clocked a combined 2:10.72 ahead of compatriots Francesco Friedrich and Thorsten Margis, the current world champions, who finished just 0.05 seconds adrift and had to settle for silver.
Johannes Lochner and Christopher Weber completed the medal places after their combined run of 2:10.93.
World silver medallists Justin Kripps and Jesse Lumsden's run of 2:11.12 was only good enough for fourth place.
Canadian Kripps has never finished outside the top four in the two-man this season and remains top of the rankings on 1431 points.
Friedrich, with three second-place finishes and one victory from the past four rounds, is second on 1279 with Kripps' compatriot Chris Spring, seventh in St Moritz, is third on 1259.
