According to the Telegraph, UFC president Dana White will attend the world heavyweight title bout between WBA and IBF champion Joshua and WBO holder Joseph Parker in Cardiff a week on Saturday.
He plans to meet with 28-year-old British icon Joshua, a fighter he feels has "changed the face of boxing" with his 75,000 sell-out bout with New Zealand's Parker in his third straight stadium fight.
White apparently hopes to entice Joshua away from promoter Eddie Hearn and Matchroom boxing after a five-year rise to the summit of the sport since turning professional, says the Telegraph.
"The capture of Joshua would immediately make the UFC key players and it is thought the Briton could earn $50 million (£35 million) per fight if he switched to them, with the prospect of a multi-fight deal taking him to over $500 million in earnings," said the newspaper.
But Joshua wants Hearns involved in any new venture.

When Eurosport met Anthony Joshua

"Oh yeah, a hundred percent," said Joshua when asked about the UFC.
I’m interested because we can all work together. Mine and Eddie’s relationship is a really good working relationship. You know? And I’m sure Eddie has an interest in working with Dana White. If it’s good business, it makes sense. I’m not in the business and I’m sure Eddie isn’t in it to say, ‘Oh, Dana White, we’re not interested in working with you,’ when we don’t know what’s on the table.
"We’ll listen and a hundred percent, if it makes sense, we’re all ears, man. So I’m happy that Dana’s coming into the game. Hopefully, he can add some excitement, and we can progress forward and make some good money and make some good fights."
Joshua holds the WBA, IBF and IBO crowns and boasts a perfect 20-0 record.
He is expected to fight WBC champion Deontay Wilder in a huge unification bout later this year if he overcomes Parker.
