According to Boxing.com, police were called to a hotel on the Strip at 7:30am, where a 'tall man and a bruised woman' were taken into custody.
Wilder was reportedly in Las Vegas for the Floyd Mayweather fight. According to reports, the woman in question had a cut lip, swelling around the eyes and red marks on her neck suggesting she had been strangled.
Wilder has ended all of his 28 contents within four rounds. A visit to the UK two weeks ago saw former Olympic gold medallist Audley Harrison knocked out in 70 seconds. Harrison subsequently announced his retirement.
Promoter Frank Warren had reportedly made Wilder a 'substantial' offer to face Finchley fighter Dereck Chisora (16-4), who himself was given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to complete 150 hours community work after being found guilty of assaulting his girlfirend in 2010.
Wilder, 27, was released on Monday after posting a $15,000 bond.
