Nicola Adams ready for Leicester outing

Nicola Adams will aim to continue on her path towards a professional world title when she fights Mexico’s Isabel Milan in Leicester on Saturday night.

Adams’ fifth professional bout will be for the interim WBO flyweight title.

Adams last fought at Elland Road in March when she dispatched opponent Soledad del Valle Frias in the first round.

Adams said: “This fight against Isabel my most important professional fight so far because it is the one where a win will get me that full world title challenge.

“I never take any chances in the ring or overlook anybody and I always give it 110 per cent. I treat every opponent like I am fighting for a world title.”
