Talks between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have broken down, with the undisputed heavyweight title fight now not set to take place. It was widely expected the bout would happen on April 29 at Wembley Stadium, but disagreements over a rematch clause mean they two champions will not fight each other next. The WBA are expected to order Usyk to fight against mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois.

The undisputed heavyweight fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is set to not take place next month after talks broke down.
Fury and Usyk had agreed a 70-30 split in the former’s favour with the fight expected to happen on April 29 at Wembley Stadium.
However, Usyk’s team have walked away from negotiations, claiming Fury and his team did not want the fight.
The BBC report the sticking point was about the rematch clause, which Fury was against whilst Usyk was in favour of, as he had in his first bout against Antony Joshua.
Usyk is the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and Ring magazine champion, having successfully defended his titles against Joshua last year, whilst Fury stopped Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora to defend his WBC title.
Both men are unbeaten and an announcement about an undisputed fight was expected for the first time in the four-belts era, following Frank Warren’s tease on Sunday.
The WBA are now expected to order Usyk to fight against mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois.
