The WBO heavyweight title fight between Shannon Briggs and Sultan Ibragimov will take place at the Luzhniki Sports Palace in Moscow on June 2
The 12,000 seat arena will host this clash of heavyweight titans, and great things are expected for the unbeaten Ibragimov's homecoming.
"The new king will be crowned in a palace, and we couldn't be happier," said Leon Margules, Executive Director of Seminole Warriors Boxing.
"This is a wonderful arena with a lot of history, and we expect that the fight fans of Russia will sell it out and watch their favourite son challenge for the most prestigious title in boxing."
The Luzhniki Sports Palace, part of the Luzhniki Sports Complex, is the home arena for hockey's Dynamo Moscow and has been used in the past for World and European Championship competitions.
It also the arena where the famed 1972 Summit Series between, the Soviet Union and Canadian hockey teams, took place.
